It's not as pleasurable an experience, and the hits aren't milky, but they're effective, and more importantly, it doesn't continue to heat (and waste material) after you've stopped using it. Many of the popular lenses on Canon/Nikon have a M4/3 equivalent of similar quality at a fraction of the price at this point (with super pro sports/safari long zooms being the exception). In some cases, it's actually better to go M4/3, especially if you're a fan of primes.

Michael Zhao

I've had multiple messages that have gone through and been marked as "delivered" only to hear later

I've had multiple messages that have gone through and been marked as "delivered" only to hear later on that they've never actually been received. Part of the appeal of the Instagram feed is that you can only see one picture at any given moment, which invites you to actually concentrate (however briefly) on one thing, rather than scan flippantly through a grid. If I post something to Instagram, it's with the knowledge that someone will actually see it, whereas a grid-based design invites people to gloss over things they might otherwise enjoy seeing in detail, but are too lazy to click. In that way, the lack of information is a feature in and of itself.

As for your profile design, it just doesn't look very nice. First off, there's too much other information distracting from the photos. Secondly, if pictures on your profile, you obviously took them so no need to put your avatar under each photo. Also, I rather like the changing cover photo thing on the current design.

Michael Zhao

FYI, coffee cups are not recyclable.

FYI, coffee cups are not recyclable. The inner, waterproof coating renders them un-recyclable as paper and the paper renders them un-recyclable as plastic. It's a perfect shitstorm of unsustainability. The best you can do is bring your own mug. The second best is those compostable hippie cups. The third best thing is to recycle the plastic lid, but not the cup.

Whatever you do, don't recycle the cup. I've been told that if no one catches it before it goes into the recycling apparatus, or whatever the hell they use to turn paper back into paper, it can ruin a whole batch. I'm not sure I believe this, but better safe than sorry.
